My name is David Robinson, and I'm a web, software and database developer. My passion is software and web development, and I endeavor to stay current with emerging technologies. My hobbies are woodworking, photography and astronomy.
Currently, I'm a freelance developer providing companies with dynamic web sites, software applications and database services to improve business operations.
I began my technical career in the U.S. Navy as a certified electronics technician and software analyst. I've worked on the Naval Anti Submarine S3A aircraft repairing aviation electronics and its airborne computer system - UNIVAC 1832 also known as the AN/UYK-7.
Later, I maintained an automatic test station (USM 470 V2) as a software analyst utilizing the Harris H-100 computer system running the ATLAS programming language.
I was honorably discharged from the Navy in 1994.
After my discharge from the military I formed Grafix Network, Inc. a web hosting and software development company. During this time I provided web hosting services and administered Windows and Linux web servers, including both IIS and Apache administration.
In addition, I developed three retail desktop software applications that I marketed and sold over the Internet:
Today I enjoy freelancing and producing web and software solutions to meet the needs for companies small and large.
